The Historical Association will welcome David Benac, as he presents a talk entitled, “The Evolution of Company Towns” on Wednesday, April 24. The program will take place at 7 p.m. at Hartman School, 355 Hubbard St. It is free and open to the public.

Benac is associate professor of history, public history coordinator, and internship supervisor at Western Michigan University. His areas of research interest include the American environmental movement of the late-20th century and the heritage and history of the timber industry in culture and landscape.
