BENTON TOWNSHIP — Moments after winning his Mr. Blossomtime 2024 title, St. Joseph’s Harry Kalin struggled for the words to describe his feelings, but settled for one: “surreal.”
“I didn’t expect to get Mr. St. Joe, or Mr. Blossomtime – I’m not even used to saying it. But I’m so grateful I did, and I’m so thankful that the judges saw it in me, because honestly, anybody here could have done it,” he said afterward.
